Welcome Home, My Son! – I’ve been an an electric razor user for years. I started out with DE shaving while still in High school. However, I quickly abandoned it because:

Awesome – I tried everything including a cut throat razor. The cut throat just refused to hold an edge and dulled after 2 or 4 passes. Amazon shave cartridges were …. Gillette are awesome but they just got far to political and way to expensive. So I found this and didn’t know anything about it this type of shaving. I bought it and watched a few videos from Mark Szorady on YouTube and got the overall idea. Watched a few more times and fine tuned it learning about hot water to donsomething to the razor. Not exactly sure but it does seem to cut easier. Anyway, if you go very slow and deliberate your going to getban amazing shave by your 3rd or 4th attempt. You need to treat it like an event – take your time, go extremely slow, watch videos, and don’t get discouraged. Your going to bleed but it’s worth the learning curve it really is. I love this razor and will not be leaving it. I now have to understand why I need to heat the razor blades up in hot hot water and do I need aggressive razors or mild. I think until us rookies master the art sticking to the mild is probably the best way to go. Excellent product the only bad I can say about all of this is I didn’t learn about it sooner in life.
