Like the scent – Bought this for my husband. He likes the scent and says it’s a good moisturizer. (He actually just said “yeah” in response to the two questions I asked him… pretty good praise from him!!)

Great Refill – This is more of a how to than a review. The soap is great, don’t get me wrong. It smells nice and lathers good. i just thought i would share my discovery. I got an old soap tin with a screw on lid that i have had since i first started wet shaving. In the questions, someone mentioned melting the soap. I bought this just for that. I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds in a microwave safe bowl. It was completely liquid at than point. I poured it in my old tin and put it in the refrigerator to make it solid again. It worked like a charm as can be seen in the picture i attached. I keep it moist in the tin and it’s always ready. I will be using this from now on.

Best shave soap I’ve used so far – Since I’ve ditched the expensive shaving cream cartel of Gillette/Barbasol/Edge/etc and went with the shave soap and brush about a decade ago, this is probably the best shave soap I’ve used. Unlike some others, it doesn’t act like glue in my pipes and clog my drains, it lathers well so I can use less of it and it comes in a good size puck, and provides a nice moisturizing foam for the razor to glide through.

Great Shaving Soap! – I’ve been shaving my face for just under 30 years, and I have tried all sorts of razor blade systems, shaving lotions, shaving creams, and shaving soaps. I have finally found a soap that makes a major difference. This smelled great right out of the packaging, and the glycerin base did an amazing job of moisturizing my face as I was shaving. My skin is still soft hours after shaving, and I don’t feel anything in the way of razor burns or onsetting ingrown hairs. And, considering that this soap is a fraction of the price of some of the soaps/creams that have tried recently, it is well worth it!
