Best Electric Shaver I have ever used – I have purchased and used Philips-Norelco Electric Shavers for the past 20 years. The Series 7000 Model 7100 is by far the best shaver I have ever owed. I was amazed on how close of a shave I get from this product. It truly shaves as close as my Gillette Pro Guide hand held razor.

Skip the 9 Series and buy this–NOW! – Update – – I’m still loving this razor! I bought it in mid-September and today, the last day in November, I had to charge it for the second time. I’ve used this razor every weekday and continue to love the close shave. The product has held up very well and still looks very nice. And it holds a charge phenomenally.

good purchase, but could be improved – I love being able to clean it by flushing under a faucet. It shaves well, but… The same as other electric shavers I’ve had in the past, there is still a problem with the shaver not gliding smoothly across the skin. It seems you have to hold the skin taught to try to minimize this or maybe there is a better technique that I should be using? If so, they didn’t clue me in on that. They want you to use a circular motion, but that just doesn’t work very well in all areas of the face. The “smart” feature with the app is mostly just a gimmick. It will tell you to use more of a circular motion, but as I mentioned before, that doesn’t work in all areas of the face especially when the skin clings to the shaver in the slack direction of the skin where there isn’t a movement across the skin. It works fine in the taught direction of the skin, but using a circular motion means you are alternating between slack skin and taught skin. The solution would seem to be better functionality of gliding along the skin even where the skin is slack. The sideburns trimmer is as faulty as any prior models going back decades. My relatively high rating for this shaver is as compared to other shavers which I think probably have similar flaws. In absolute terms I would rate the shaver much lower.

Great replacement for my old Speed XL. – I had bought my first Philips Norelco shaver in 2009. It was a Speed XL. I nursed that all these years trying one shaver or another and FINALLY, a suitable and arguably better solution is found in this shaver. It is much easier to clean daily and battery has not needed to be charged since my first charge a week ago and still shows full. The switch was seamless and even seems better and faster in use.

Probably the best razor today. – I was in the market for a new razor and I needed some thing that was quiet good battery life easy to charge a good holder and easy to clean. This razor is probably the best razor I’ve ever owned. The charge last at least three weeks. I like that it came with the charging stand rather than just a plug. Cleaning could not be easier. One button and the razors open and it can be cleaned. For the price I doubt you can find anything better. Close shave every time.

This is probably the best shaver for sensitive skin – I highly recommend this product for people who have a sensitive skin (eczema) and so on. I’ve had issues with normal razors before but this shave hasn’t damaged my sensitive skin at all. Great product.

This is a great razor – I had been spending a lot of money to get the 9000 series from Norelco and the cheap heads they put on it don’t make it worth the money. I figured this one couldn’t be any worse and to my delight it not only shaves my beard much much closer than the 9000 did but this one has a nice rubberized handle on it which is much easier to hold than the slippery plastic that’s on the high end razor. I will definitely be using this razor for a long time and purchasing the replacement heads which are about half the price of the ones for the more expensive models. This is a great buy for people that don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on razors and the replacement heads
