My favorite shave cream – I was a total fan of Noxema Menthol Shave Cream, but they pulled it from the market years ago. I discovered Proraso in cake form, and had been using it for a couple of years before I learned it was available as foam. I am totally hooked. The Cake loses some of it’s menthol/euc over the months, but the can is fresh as day 1. I love the comfort, the smell, and the way my face feels after shaving. I will use nothing else.

Refresh is an understatement – Very refreshing, very light scent. Great for a shave the morning of a hot day. Never had such a quality shave cream from a can

Not C.O. Bigelow, but… – It’s not C.O. Bigelow, my all-time favorite shaving cream, but it’s VERY close. I don’t what happened to the C.O. Bigelow shaving cream, but I suddenly can’t find it anywhere, so the Proraso has been a very nice substitution.

Instant Believer – I’m relatively new to safety razor shaving, and while I really enjoy shaving with a brush and a nice soap or tube cream, I often just don’t have the time. Other Proraso products I’ve tried have been consistently great, so I gave this a shot. So glad. I’ve historically tended to avoid menthol shaving products, because I just have no desire to smell like menthol. Tried it anyway because of the great reviews. Again, glad. The menthol smell is not overpowering whatsoever, and really doesn’t last long at all after the shave. What DOES last, quite long after, is the fantastic cooling feeling the menthol leaves behind. I have sensitive skin, and this foam is just incredibly comfortable. “Refreshing” is no lie. I’m now very curious to try Proraso’s other foam variations, but green is probably a keeper. Hands down the best I’ve ever used.
