Works well and will pay for itself quickly. – I’ve owned a Wahl beard trimmer for 8 ? years, use it weekly and its quality and reliability has been excellent. This “Haircut and Grooming” unit has the same great build quality and will pay for itself after my third haircut. It comes with the metal plated guide combs and all the accessories you’ll need – a plastic carry case, an apron, scissors, a comb, a cleaning brush and lubricating oil for the blades. My hair was always cut a little longer on top so I ordered a #10 guide separately and use the #8 guide on the sides.

This model is still going strong after almost two years. – My spouse and I quit going to a salon to get our hair cut during COVID and haven’t been back. The cheaper home haircut kits are a false economy because you may get 5-6 months out of them before they stop CUTTING your hair properly and start pulling on it.

It does the job – OK, up front let’s agree exception to the rule exist. Just because it happen to you one way it does not mean it will happen everyone , all the time. Now, it works. I read negative comments and decided I should give an objective review. item is only 60 dollars start from there. It is not barber shop quality or level because you did not pay couple hundred box. Within its own category, this clipper is sharp, remained sharp since I purchased in Aug 2020. Oil it before you use it, clean it after you finish with it, you will be surprise how long, and ho well it will last. In case there are some of you that attempted to cut hair longer than 5 inches and used 1/4 inch clipper comb…well, you will have difficulty due to long hair. This is a good product, I am happy with it.

Worth the extra money – This is my 3rd Wahl clipper in 30 years. I LOVE IT! Hands down, it feels like twice the quality of the (very functional) cheaper models. And still about half the cost of the PRO SERIES™ PLATINUM version.

Worth spending the extra money – We’ve used cheaper wahl clippers for haircuts for yrs. Finally got a little nicer pair and it was worth the extra money. If you are going to give guys haircuts and shave or trim the neckline, these do that wonderfully.

Great balance of quality and affordability for the average home user. – When I was younger my wife used to cut my hair. Now I get my haircut at the barber shop to save her the work. But with COVID-19 in full effect, I found myself once again leaning on my wife. My current unit has a quick release blade to allow for better cleaning after use. While cleaning the unit with the blade removed, I knocked the blade by accident and it fell to the floor. The drop was counter height (about 3 feet), and the plastic clip that attaches the blade to the handheld unit broke off.
