Replacing after 5yrs – The only reason I am replacing is because I did not take good enough care of it with clipper oil and it has become rusty. Since then I have researched and learned how to properly take care of my clippers. These clippers are another’s have said, the best. You do not need to spend a lot of money to get a nice close comfortable shave. The is great for body grooming. For women I cannot recommend anything more. These clippers were not at this price point the first time I purchased them of course lol. I was so nervous that this model was not even going to be available anymore. At this price, I will be purchasing a back up just to have. Although I fully expect these to last 15yrs as I have read in other reviews of ppl who properly care for their clippers. You won’t be disappointed with these clippers. Especially for all over body grooming.

Great product – Cant offer info on battery life but dont care. Very well made. I bought it to shave a little strip on back of my cat’s neck to apply liquid flee/tic stuff. Works great!

Excellent Trimmer. Great Value with Alkaline Battery – I had enough of it with having dozens of devices that use lithium rechargeable batteries, all with there own cord, its a mess to keep track of everything in different rooms. So now I only purchase power items like this (trimmers/clippers and electric shavers) that run on on Alkaline batteries (in this case 2 AA batteries). Also when I am traveling, I don’t have to remember to bring the charger cord/adapter for places like Europe that uses a different plug. The Wahl Groomsman Battery Operated Beard Trimming is much cheaper to purchase then lithium trimmers (Same quality trimmer blade as a much more expensive unit) it will last longer (Lithium batteries stop holding a charge after a while). But also when I use something like this intermittently I don’t have to remember to charge it up or have to wait. When the batteries burn out, I just quickly swap it out.
